We’re Ledger Metrics, a Durango-based Bookkeeping and Accounting Services firm that operates on principals of simplicity, efficiency and strategic accounting for maximum value. Ledger Metrics was started with the goal of providing small businesses access to more data from their accounting system. We’re new members of the Durango Chamber of Commerce and pleased to join a group of leaders that makes Durango such a vibrant business environment.

Advanced Classification

Using a strategic accounting design, we focus on simplifying and cleaning up your chart of accounts and using advanced classification methods to create reportable details from your operations. Varying subscription levels of QuickBooks Online offer different classification options, which we use to track performance and extract reporting data. Beyond the basics of the Chart of Accounts, Customer and Vendor assignments, we use methods such as Locations, Class tracking, Product & Service mapping, Project-specific income and expenses, and Tag Groups and Tags.

We offer multiple levels of bookkeeping aimed at the size and scope of your business, at a flat rate in order to serve clients effectively and at a predictable cost. In addition to service levels, add-ons allow the choice of full service, hybrid outsourced/insourced accounting, or fully insourced (platform only). Ledger Metrics uses QuickBooks Online as the primary accounting platform and matches the subscription level based on the needs of the client company.

The co-founders of Ledger Metrics collectively have over 20 years of business ownership experience and have lived the highs and lows of managing small business. They understand the pressures, time constraints, values and objectives of small business and aim to help owners and managers navigate their operations successfully.
